Untitled, (Glass) is a site-specific work installed at Elthorne Road Studios, Central Saint Martins in London. The tumbler, attached to a wall of the exhibition space in the Studios, takes on the shape of a symbolic object which acts as a catalyst to establish the link with an outside, creating a spatial connection within the building. Listening through it, we cross the fluid wall to eavesdrop on the noises and sounds of a passage area on the upper floor, where I placed a hidden microphone. A glimmer into what is happening across the boundary opens up to us: the act of dwelling, or in other words living itself.
