Waiting Room (2022)
“Waiting Room” is the launch event of the zine "No more beautiful images", presented at the Lethaby Gallery in London. As part of the event, I created a comfortable waiting room by setting up a water dispenser, a plant, chairs, and a coffee table.The intention was to create a natural environment for a magazine and a relaxing space able to generate conversations and relaxation for the audience. Through contemplation of the concept of an 'event', this space seeks to transform waiting into a state of receptiveness towards the unexpected: an eternal hic et nunc. The waiting for the event – the event itself – generated a comfortable setting for for the audience to unwind and engage.
